Erika and Jared

Erika and Jared were married at the Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park on August 4, 2012, in a ceremony that combined American and Mexican traditions. I got to help Erika and her mom Ana-Silvia take all the out of town family, vibrancy and energy of the day and bring in Jared’s sneaky surprises to create a day that was completely full of fun, laughter and silliness. What a couple in love!

Their use of lavender as the main color just complemented the beautiful wisteria at Allied Arts, and the Papel Picado banners from Mexico added a flair of celebration!

From start to finish, this couple was all smiles, and I’ve never seen such a classic wedding be so sweet and intimate. It wasn’t necessarily the details that made this wedding unique, it was the people!

Jared surprised Erika by arranging for a vintage Rolls to take them away in a Grand Exit – and grand it was!

Thank you to our darling couple for letting us be a part of their big day! Big thanks to Spencer Sutherland, Royal Bloom Boutique, Tiana at Allied Arts Guild, Cafe Primavera and of course, our photographer Andre Nguyen!
