Definitely my most unique wedding to date, Ashley and Aaron combined a formal Catholic ceremony with a change-shoes, grab-a-beer and party park reception! “Food trucks and flip flops” was the phrase we kept using to describe the wedding to vendors as we planned.
Wendi from Sweetness and Light Floral Design did an excellent job transforming a vision and budget that began as “we’ll do the flowers ourselves” into a perfect pairing with the setting – lots of natural flora and wine bottles repurposed as vases really took a picnic site into a wedding venue quickly.
I cannot tell you how much fun it was to transform a park into a venue with this darling couple – night and day.
But what made it a great wedding? The wonderful people, laughter, music and fun! Thank you for letting me be a part of it and congratulations, Ashley and Aaron! I miss you guys already!
Beautiful photography by Volatile Photography, awesome music by Carl Mindling, yummy food truck meal by Speedy Panini, flowers by Sweetness and Light Floral Design and big thanks to Classic Party Rentals, Shawn Cavlan Beauty Co., St. Joseph’s of Cupertino and Mills Wine Group for really making the day perfect!
